ABOUT COSTA RICA
A country full of lush rainforests accompanied by clear sandy beaches, Costa Rica is an absolute must-visit if you are looking to travel to Central America. My family and I visited in the summertime, staying partially in La Fortuna in the mountainous region and in Tamarindo on the western coast. Costa Rica is an adventure of a lifetime. With tropical rainforest where you can have countless adventures ziplining and hiking and gorgeous ocean coastlines there is little left to be desired in this country.

Travel Tips - Costa Rica
Lodging
There are many different lodging options you can choose from for your Costa Rican adventures. I would recommend looking at Hostel World, Expedia, Airbnb, and or Vrbo for accommodations.
Transportation
There are many different ways you can get around Costa Rica, including renting a car! We decided to skip the taxis and busses and just rent a large minivan (sort of thing) for our family friend vacation. This was a great way to get around and travel between regions, just ensure that you are aware of all the local driving laws so that you don’t run into unwelcome legal surprises.
