BELGIUM

ABOUT BELGIUM
There is so much more to offer in Belgium aside from their infamous chocolate and waffles (although they are unbelievably delicious)! Explore the fantasy landscape and stroll through medieval architecture. There is endless amounts of adventure that are waiting to be had in this fairytale country. We stayed in Belgium for only a few days but were able to take advantage of several excursions and city adventures.

Travel Tips - Belgium
Lodging
For our stay in Brussels, we stayed at easyHotel Brussels City Center, which worked great for our needs! It was close enough to the train station to where we didn’t need to order an Uber or taxi. The hotel was definitely a budget hotel, and it worked in a pinch. If you are looking for something private (i.e., not a hostel) but still want to save some money traveling, this hotel is perfect for you!
Transportation
As with all the navigation around Europe, planes, trains, and buses are a great way to get around. I booked most of my trains with Omio, which is a fantastic platform for European transportation. Eurail is also a great decision, too! Skyscanner is a great application for finding cheap flights, as well as Google Flights.
Activities
There is no shortage of incredible things to do in Belgium but here are some of my favorites:
-
Explore the fairytale cities, Ghent and Bruges
-
Indulge in a massive waffle!
